Galveston Restaurant Week to Celebrate Island Cuisine During February
Event to Feature 40+ Galveston Restaurants
GALVESTON ISLAND, TEXAS (January 20, 2021) – Visitors to Galveston will be able to start their new year off in a delicious way with Galveston Restaurant Week taking place throughout February! The event will bring the island’s vibrant food scene to life for a full month of dining that will showcase the tastiest culinary gems Galveston has to offer.
“There’s no doubt the restaurant industry has been hard hit because of the coronavirus pandemic,” Texas Restaurant Association, Galveston Chapter, President James Clark said. “We hope that spreading the event out over an entire month will entice diners to come sample great food at great price points. We view it as a win-win situation – restaurant goers win with delicious, affordable meals and restaurant staff wins with more customers to serve.”
More than 40 restaurants will participate in this year’s event, which is a once-a-year opportunity for diners to try top dishes on prix-fixe breakfast, lunch and dinner menus in attractive price points. Two- and three-course dinners will be priced between $20 and $35 while two-course lunches, breakfasts and brunches will cost between $10 and $20.
Galveston Restaurant Week sponsors are the Texas Restaurant Association, Galveston Chapter and Del Papa Distributing Company.
